Academic Guidance:
Each department assigns an academic advisor to a specific number of students determined by the department. The advisor guides them in course selection and other academic matters.
The role of the academic advisor focuses on the following points:
Guiding students in choosing the courses they enroll in during each semester registration period.
Monitoring students' progress in their studies by communicating with their professors and assisting them in overcoming study difficulties.
Assisting students in all their academic matters, including registration, course load, dropping and adding courses, withdrawal from studies, and ensuring that their choices are in their best interest.
Caring for academically struggling students under academic supervision and students who are suspended from studying, and overcoming the obstacles that hinder their academic achievement, so that their academic path can be straightened.
Providing academic and social opinions regarding students who submit requests to the Student Affairs Committee for re-enrollment.

For Egyptian students applying in 2024 with foreign, Arab, or technical secondary diplomas, the minimum required percentages are:
• Faculty of Engineering: 70%
• Faculty of Art and Design: 58%
• Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences: 58%
For Egyptian students applying in 2024 with the Egyptian General Secondary Education Certificate or Al-Azhar Secondary Certificate (after equivalency), the minimum required percentages are:
• Faculty of Engineering: 68%
• Faculty of Art and Design: 53%
• Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences: 53%
