A letter of intent to cooperate with City University of Cairo was signed by the President of UNESP University in Brazil, covering all the disciplines of City University of Cairo. This comes as a continuation of the efforts of City University of Cairo to support the twinning file and in implementation of the directives of the Assistance Committee of the Private and Non-Profit Universities Council related to signing cooperation agreements with internationally advanced universities that surpass Egyptian universities. The letter was signed by Dr. Amr Marwan Tawfik, the representative of the founders of City University in Cairo, and Prof. Sandro Roberto Valentini, the President of UNESP University in Brazil, expresses the intent to cooperate academically between the two parties, covering all the disciplines of City University of Cairo. UNESP University is ranked 491 globally according to the QS ranking and is ranked 10th in Latin America. It also ranks 37th globally in Dentistry and 101st in Arts and Design. It is worth mentioning that the University of Cairo, the top Egyptian university in the global ranking, ranks between 520 and 530 globally according to the QS ranking.
For Egyptian students applying in 2024 with foreign, Arab, or technical secondary diplomas, the minimum required percentages are:
• Faculty of Engineering: 70%
• Faculty of Art and Design: 58%
• Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences: 58%
For Egyptian students applying in 2024 with the Egyptian General Secondary Education Certificate or Al-Azhar Secondary Certificate (after equivalency), the minimum required percentages are:
• Faculty of Engineering: 68%
• Faculty of Art and Design: 53%
• Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences: 53%

• Language of Instruction: Courses are offered in both English and Arabic. The program duration is 4 years, with students choosing their major starting from the third academic year.
