CUC Vision

The interest of preparing a new vision for educational institutions, the most important of which is the university of its contemporary perspective, is to overcome the negative aspects that accompanied the practice of the government university institutions on the one hand. It is also a presentation of a future outlook on which the higher education system is based in Egypt in light of economic and social changes. Universities and research centers are the first bodies responsible for preparing the climate and tools on which development plans are based in any society.

 The private university should not be a simulation of the old and the new, but it should be a new model, following a philosophy and objectives developed through its programs and disciplines, as well as through the regulations and regulations that follow them in accordance with the laws of the state and its relationship with other institutions of labor and production in the service of Progress and Development.

 The University strives to achieve excellence through its commitment to the highest standards of thought in teaching, learning, and innovation. The University also promotes individual and institutional leadership roles that drive social development, with its deep belief in professionalism, responsibility, creativity, and teamwork, Providing innovative education and creative research that serves the Egyptian people and its Arab and African brothers
the community and contributes to building the knowledge economy by creating an environment conducive to learning, intellectual creativity, and optimal employment through advanced technology and local/global partnerships.

CUC Message

CUC is pursuing a strategic plan based on identifying the gap between the status in the higher education system in Egypt and the vision and realistic vision of the project's founders in order to carry out the responsibility of the community university and its aspirations to interest in scientific research in accordance with national trends and priorities.

In order to achieve this mission, the University adopts several foundations, the most important of which are:

1. The stated policy of the university to appoint sufficient number of faculty members in various disciplines, with the establishment of objective criteria to evaluate their performance in order to improve the quality of the educational process, scientific research and community service.
2 - Attention to educational programs and courses to be consistent with the educational message and strategic objectives of each college, and interest in the description of these programs and decisions and review periodically and ensure that they achieve the correct academic standards.
3. Taking care of scientific research as one of the basic activities of higher education institutions and providing adequate resources to enable the researcher to carry out his research activities and improve the quality of the research, as well as encouraging cooperation between different disciplines in the same field through an integrated research plan that corresponds to the comprehensive vision of the educational institution in Egypt and its association with others Other world countries.
4. Provide self-learning opportunities for students, encourage non-traditional learning patterns, create diverse self-learning methods that fit the programs and numbers of students, especially in new disciplines required for the labor market, and then evaluate students objectively to correct errors.
5. Conducting a comprehensive periodic evaluation of the university's ability to identify strengths and weaknesses to be addressed through the University's Quality Management Unit.
6. To strive to improve the quality of postgraduate programs by describing and reviewing these programs periodically and to ensure that the learning outcomes targeted for any program and its decisions achieve - in fact - the goals planned for it, in addition to providing different sources of learning for postgraduate students and then adopting objective systems to evaluate these students.
7. To provide support and guidance to students and graduates, where the student is the focus of the educational process, should be interested in providing equal opportunities for learning and encourage student activities, as the University seeks to not break the relationship with the student even after graduating through the Office of Graduate Services at the University.
8. Create a conscious leadership in the university that adopts the idea of ​​development, striving for excellence and the ability to develop the necessary policies and take decisions within an appropriate time frame that ensures the efficiency and effectiveness of the university's performance.
9. Ethical commitment to credibility and integrity among all departments and faculties of the university in its policy and decisions and transactions at home and abroad, as well as ensuring the application of transparency, fair practices, non-discrimination, protection of academic freedoms, intellectual property rights and publishing, as well as the application of professional ethics among its members in each sector.
10. Adherence to the National Academic References Standards (NARS). Other academic standards may also be adopted and accredited by the National Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority.

Strategic Objectives of the University
CUC project aims to create the opportunity for high quality university education, serving a large segment of students, led by outstanding students encouraged through scholarships available to them at the university.  City University University of Cairo aims to announce the general policy and strategic plans by focusing on the diversity of education styles, including academic education, distance learning, technical education, developing the internet networks, and interest in software and future sciences related to digitization and robotics in many fields. The University is established according to internationally recognized standards and according to a periodic opinion poll of faculty members, administrators and employees as well as a survey of students' opinions as recipients of the educational service.  The vision of CUC is based on collective responsibility, not just individual responsibility. It is accompanied by a societal accountability of what has been announced at the university and what has been implemented through the internal regulations of each faculty and center.  The university's vision is based on collective responsibility in the Shura system. The academic group is comprised of members of the teaching staff, their appointed and assigned assistants, as well as experts and those interested in education from outside the university. The administrative group includes all employees of the university at different locations.  Then these views and proposals are presented after the work of the census and the questionnaire required by the Board of Trustees and the Council of the University to be discussed and then approve what works and adopt it.

Role of the University

The CUC has the aim of contributing to the realization of intellectual, scientific and technological progress, within North Africa and the Middle East area.  Therefore the University competence deals with the three academic degrees (bachelor/Master/Doctorate) by covering branches of learning within seven Schools of undergraduate study.  The CUC role is also of gathering extant knowledge to satisfy the training needs and professionalism expressed by other demanding countries worldwide, and performs a coordinating task carried out by its Faculty Staff.  The study in the CUC depends on the reform of higher education in Egypt through the constitution of specialization Schools in medicine, engineering, economics and art.  The University is keen to build a network structure allowing the promotion of interuniversity research and education in a multidisciplinary and multilateral perspective.  It supports the mobility of students and University Staff within different countries, for the development of scientific and educational cooperation, and generally encouraging the comprehension among peoples.  Accordingly, the University lays the basis for an institution open to the regional education needsby setting up cooperation programs among several universities for the development and the approaching of educational systems.

The CUC role carries out the following activities:

  • Academic and practical studies in different fields and specializations.
  • Partnership research in the framework of multi-lateral projects.
  • Taking benefit of the opportunities offered by international organizations.
  • Increasing the scientific and educational cooperation among universities.
  • Encouraging intensive course contribution realized in collaboration with professors from other associated universities.
  • Gaining valuable experience in each specialization to serve the labor market after graduation.
